This policy explains how Microiotronic processes your personal data in line with the principles of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Through the contact form on our website or e-mails you send us, we collect the following data:

Additionally, technical data such as IP address, browser type and access time may be automatically recorded in server logs for security and service-continuity purposes. Please enter only the information you wish to share in the contact form, and do not include special categories of personal data (e.g. health, beliefs).

3. Purposes of Processing

We process your data to respond to your requests and questions, to communicate with you, to provide quotes and technical information, to conduct pre-contractual discussions, to fulfil our legal obligations and to maintain the security of our services. We do not use your data for marketing purposes without your explicit consent.

4. Legal Basis

When you contact us via the form, processing of your data is based on our legitimate interest in handling your request (KVKK Art. 5/2-f; GDPR Art. 6/1-f), on the necessity for entering into or performing a contract (KVKK Art. 5/2-c; GDPR Art. 6/1-b) and, where applicable, on your explicit consent (KVKK Art. 5/1; GDPR Art. 6/1-a).

5. Retention Period

We retain your personal data only for as long as required by the purpose of processing and the statutory retention periods set out in applicable legislation. Data collected for contact requests is deleted or anonymised within a reasonable period after your request is resolved (typically no more than 24 months), unless a legal obligation requires otherwise.

6. Transfers & Sharing

We do not sell your data to third parties. Your data may be shared only to the extent necessary for the service, with our hosting and e-mail infrastructure providers who are bound by confidentiality, and with legally authorised public authorities in accordance with applicable legislation.

7. Your Rights

Under KVKK Art. 11 and the GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

To learn whether your data is being processed and to request access to it; to request rectification of incomplete or inaccurate data; to request erasure or destruction; to request restriction of processing; to request data portability; to object to processing; to withdraw any consent you have given at any time; and to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. You may send your requests to the e-mail address above, and we will respond within 30 days at the latest.

8. Cookies

Our site uses only strictly necessary cookie/session data for core functionality and remembering your language preference. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.
